Hi! I’m Suzy. I am a writer and a mother. This blog is a place for me to share the things that interest and amaze me.

The title “Prairie Mango” comes from these facts about me: I was born and grew up in the Canadian prairies. One side of my cultural ancestry is Filipino.

You could also call me a prairie-born coastal mango - I’ve been living on the west coast of Canada for well over a decade now. Or… you could call me a prairie-born coastal strawberry-mango! Half of my ancestors are from Western Europe and the British Isles.
